Visa Guide for IVF Treatment in China

Entry policy depends on your passport and changes frequently. Below are common situations for reference; visa issuance and entry are always decided by the Chinese authorities — we assist with documents only.

Common situations

Hong Kong/Macao residents (Home Return Permit): no visa needed.
Countries with mutual visa exemption (e.g., Malaysia, Thailand): short stays (typically 30 days) are visa-free, which covers most treatment itineraries; for longer stays a visa can be considered.
Passports requiring a visa (e.g., ordinary Vietnamese passports): usually a family-visit (Q/S) or other applicable visa; hospital appointment papers and a medical invitation letter can support the application.
Other nationalities: China has expanded unilateral visa-free entry in recent years — check your local Chinese embassy/consulate announcement before travelling.

A fresh stimulation cycle typically takes about 3–5 weeks, close to or beyond a 30-day limit. Discuss a split plan with your clinician (tests first, transfer later) or apply for a longer-stay visa in advance.

Can you guarantee a visa?

No. Issuance and entry are decided by the authorities. We only help prepare materials and coordinate hospital documents.

Does an accompanying family member need an invitation letter?

It depends on the visa type. Most visa-free or tourist entries do not; where needed we coordinate supporting documents together.
