How to Prepare Your Medical Records Before Consulting

Well-organized records let the consultation go straight to the point: clinicians discuss your actual cycle data instead of guessing from scratch. Copies or photos are enough to start for most items.

Core checklist

  • Stimulation protocol and medication doses for each previous cycle
  • Retrieval records: eggs retrieved, mature eggs
  • Fertilization and culture records: method (IVF/ICSI), number fertilized, day-by-day embryo development and grading
  • Transfer records: number and grade of embryos transferred, lining thickness, luteal support
  • Baseline tests: hormone levels (AMH, FSH etc.), semen analysis, tubal and uterine assessments
  • Surgical notes and chronic-condition medication list (if any)

Missing a few items does not delay the start — send what you have and the clinician decides what needs filling in.

How to send records safely

  • The enquiry form takes basic circumstances and contact details only — do not paste medical records or document numbers into it
  • Send reports only after confirming the recipient and transfer method with the team
  • Identity documents (passports, proof of marriage) are needed at hospital verification, not for the initial consultation

Which old tests can be reused

Most imaging and surgical records can be reused directly. Whether time-sensitive tests (hormones, semen analysis — typically valid 6–12 months) need repeating is the receiving clinician’s call. Chinese hospitals generally accept English reports from accredited institutions; Chinese translations can wait until required.

FAQ

My old reports are in Thai or Vietnamese — do I need translations first?

For the initial assessment, photos of the originals plus a brief English summary are enough. Once the hospital process starts, translations follow the hospital’s requirements and we help confirm the format.

What if I have no previous records at all?

Start anyway. The clinician arranges a baseline work-up for your age and history; first-time patients begin from baseline tests regardless.

How are my records handled?

Used only for your consultation and hospital coordination — never displayed publicly or sold. Before passing records to a hospital or specialist, we tell you the recipient and scope.
